As Dave Proctor says it's a 30 minute difference, add to that the
inconvenient location of Canberra Railway station out of town, even if you
get a taxi right away it'll take you another 10 minutes to get into Canberra
City (where the bus deposits you) so you're looking at a 40 minute
difference city centre to city centre. Usually railways do have that
advantage over other transport, except with Canberra the bridge fell down in
the 1920s and was never replaced.
