Exactly. As long as the driver is seated on the correct side of the cab,
what's the problem? In the steam days drivers had no problems with the sight
past boilers, why is a 47 worse?

Not only in Victoria but also in Queensland and Western Australia diesels
are driven long end leading without problems.

I suspect avachat would have a coronary if he saw a couple years ago what
was then a common occurrence, AN's doing 80km/h No. 2 end leading on trip
trains between West Kalgoolie and Parkeston.
