[VIC] Broadmeadows line today.

The 1432 up Broadmeadows service had a 6 car comeng set today. It seemed
to have problems accelerating out of the stations. I don't know if this
was the driver or the train, but we were diverted onto the higher lines
at Kensignton and the service terminated at Flinders Street platform 10.
If the train is defective, would this be the standard procedure?
