My only problem is:

I was at Box Hill Station in Melbourne last night, and i wanted to get to
mentone. Box hill and Mentone are both zone 2 but when you want to buy a
zone 1, you have to see a guy at the counter. But where do you vaildate it??
You can't at box hill, becuase it is zone 2 and will reject it, saying its
an invaild zone, and if you get caught on the train by a instector what do
you say?? This has happened a few times, can someone please help, in trying
to fix this problem?

(BTw: i did have a vaild zone 2 ticket, and missed the 700 bus by 5 mins
(runs on the hr after 8 ish..)
