The discussion re putting drunks off North Coast XPT reminds me of a
trip my mother, sister and I made from Melbourne to Wagga when I was a
child (in "Change at Albury" days).
Soon after leaving Albury it was discovered that we had been booked on
the wrong division of the train - we were on the one that did not stop
at Wagga, next stop was Junee around 1.00 am or so!
However a drunk started to give the train crew a really hard time
about then too. The result was that the train was stopped at Wagga
while they bundled the drunk out one door - and us out another!
Transport from the station was different - we went by taxi while the
drunk went by "Police taxi". (Our respective destinations differed
too!)

Stephen
