I presume you are referring to the CityRail employees who make sure that a
train leaves on time rather than waiting for the person running down the
stairs?
What about the other 1000 people on the train who are forced to wait for the
person running down the stairs? And then what happens if another person
starts running down down the stairs just as the first person reaches the
bottom? And then a third just as the second reaches the bottom? etc., etc.,
etc.????? Where does it stop, where is the line drawn that one person should
be inconvenienced (after the scheduled departure time) to minimise
inconvenience on the other 1000 people who managed to make it to the station
in time for that train?
