Yep, 0818 down Broadmeadows, ex FSS. Stops SSS, North Melbourne, Essendon,
Glenroy, Broadmeadows. (service ending this friday however, acc new
timetable).

Many Ringwood line services, especially during peak. Most daytime services
to Eltham and Hurstbridge run express Jolimont to Clifton Hill.

For the record it takes me 57 minutes, including about 9 minutes changeover
time at Flinders Street, to travel 16km + 11km. Grand total of 27km. That
means, 48 minutes on the train, plus a full circle around the City Loop
(minus Spencer Street) which adds another few km. Only thing is, running
express Jolimont to Clifton Hill (doesn't stop, west richmond, north
richmond, collingwood, victoria park - magpies stations, no loss really).

Much of a muchness really. The time it took me to travel from Sefton to the
City, while I was in Sydney seemed forever. Would be something along the
lines of 45-50 mins or so? For what would be a similar distance. I don't
recall much express running on that line.

Regards

Michael
