Aus loco discussion mailing list
According to Janes World Railways the only EE loco's in malaysia in service
in 1996 were the Class 22, a Co-Co, 1275 kW 8CSVT Mk3 powered loco with full
width body, two windows at the front, of which 38 were in service in 1994.
Visit http://www.ktmb.com.my/ for a picture. There are no other EE loco's
listed.
Does anybody have any more details of the loco's that went to Malaysia?
With regard to the Phillipines, the same source quotes that they only had 57
diesel loco's in service in 1994, and availability was at 20%!!!
Cheers
Damian Clement
