Aus loco discussion mailing list
The MU compatibilty problem between the TGR Z/ZA classes and QR 1300 & 2350
classes was more to do with brake systems than electrical or mechanical.
Although the two ZR/ZP locos were rewired they still don't seem to MU
properly with the GM locos, although at last reports the parts to fix this
problem had been ordered. From memory this was also a brake problem.
