I may have got this wrong, perhaps it was X45.  Can anyone confirm?   Which locos have been running the Hume log train of late?

Everyone must have missed this, or is it happening regularly?

I was talking to a mate who is an  Intercity (V Set) driver  this evening , and he told me he passed X38/ 4486/ 47xx coming up Cowan Bank yesterday (Monday) afternoon about 1430.  The X class appeared to making heavy weather of it, as one of the crew was out on the running board, opening up several doors to the engine compartment!  (Manual cooling?).
