At least in Dubbo they could turn on the triangle, but I do not think
Brisbane has a turntable for standard gauge and Murwillumbah has not got
anything that could handle a loco like an EL.

Further to Wayne's message I have heard on the grapevine an unconfirmed
report that ELs(!) were to be used, either one at either end or running as a
single unit. With the lack of suitable turning facilities at some terminals
and/or short turn around times, the latter seems inplausible.
