Afternoon all,
     Yesterday and today, 704/603 have been working 2/3115 and 2/3114 
Bowmans grain trains. Also on 28/2, engines BL33/AN3 ran a test run to 
Bolivar and back. Today the Remote Area Fuel Train arrived with ALF21 or 
CLF7 leading 607 & 859. Both of the ALCO's were fresh from overhaul in Green 
and Gold colours still.
  Also today ALF25/BU1/CLP12 ran a test run to Long Plains and back while 
863 ran 3118/3117 to Stirling North from Pt.Augusta.
  On the subject of EL's, EL56 is currently in use with ASR as a spare 
engine at Parkeston WA. There is currently two EL's in Islington Works 
awaiting to be painted. On the subject of EL59. It was destroyed in the 
Mt.Christie head on. All that was salvaged was the engine, alternator, 
bogies and control and cab equipement. It suffered a badly bent frame and 
fire and body damage. CLP15 which was also scrapped had its bogies, cab and 
nose, radiator and dynamic brake fans/housings and name plates. The rest of 
the loco was a burnt out skeletal frame with the actual motor its self being 
destoyed.
