Has G517 been scrapped? I heard from a few
people that both the Ararat collision victims are going to be scrapped. There is
an open wagon at the back of Dynon workshops with what looks like G class
paneling in it. G518 was also noted at the back of Dynon on 11 road. Is this to
be scrapped next? Both Gs had previously been stored at the RTS
depot.
On another note, V/Line Passenger Y129 was hired by Freight
Australia today to shunt Nth Geelong yard. The FA regular Y class ran out of
fuel and no one was on to refuel it.
