>Has G517 been scrapped? I heard from a few people that both the Ararat
collision victims are going to be scrapped. There is an open wagon at the
back of Dynon workshops with what looks like G class paneling in it. G518
was also noted at the back of Dynon on 11 road. Is this to be scrapped next?
Both Gs had previously been stored at the RTS depot.
The rumor mill has it that a QR 4000 will be made fit to sg bogies...this is
apparently the cheapest/quickest solution offered by the insurance company.
This will replace one G and I gather a second G will be cobbled together
from left overs and spares. Now don't quote me on this one!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers
