Re: 81 class in Great Northern



It is hard to imaging why Freightcorp would want to send a 48 to Melbourne. One
problem with the 48 class is the very small fuel tanks. With no fueling points
south of Goulburn I doubt a 48 would make it to Melbourne if it was online and
powering. Perhaps the notice was for the Silverton 48s class. Over the weekend
of 6-7/11 the ARHS ACT train will be going to Melbourne with 4514 and a
Silverton unit, a 48S perhaps?
