Suburban train timetable changes...
ALL courtesy Chris Gordon - thanks Chris :)

Compared with previous timetables, the overall daytime Broadmeadows line departure times have changed.  An additional 61 services will be provided on the Broadmeadows line, most during peak periods.  The Sunday timetable is now identical to Saturday's from 11am onwards.

Specific changes:

*Departures from Flinders Street Station (FSS) at 00, 05, 10, 15, 20, 25 etc... during the day have changed to; 00, 04, 08, 12, 14, 20, 24, 28, 32, etc....

*Departures from Broadmeadows at:
0612, 0634, 0653, 0701, 0707, 0718, 0727, 0739, 0746, 0752, 0759, 0812, 0830, 0852, 0912, 0932, 0952....
have changed to:
0622, 0640, 0654, 0703, 0714, 0721, 0734, 0741, 0750, 0800, 0812, 0820, 0832, 0843, 0855, 0915, 0935, 0955, .....

* Morning express NMS-ESD-GRY-BMS is empty cars now.

* Morning terminating ESD train is gone.

* Morning ESD train still runs (and then empty to BMS as per old WTT)

* 5:25pm Express NME-MPD now stopping all stations...
(SAS: Stopping all stations)
1708 BMS (SAS)
1725 BMS (express NME-MPD)
1729 BMS (SAS)
1741 BMS (SAS)
now:
1708 BMS (SAS)
1717 BMS (SAS)
1729 BMS (SAS)
1741 BMS (SAS)

This change was possibly made to fill the gaps on the St Albans (SAB) line and meet PSR requirements on both the SAB and BMS line.

* Additional peak services on BMS line (I haven't looked them up yet)

* Sunday nights now 30 minutes service via loop (Sunday tt now the same as Saturday from 11am onwards)

Country train timetable changes:
[Albury/Seymour/Shepparton]

*8317 down Seymour Sprinters still drop off a Sprinter at Donnybrook, but now it returns via Albion (thru BMS at 1633) used to go via Essendon (ESD).  (return is 8360)

*1200 now 1210 Albury - this eliminates the previous overtaking by the VLP train of the sub'n service at Essendon.  This means Essendon will no longer see regular 'switching in' for the duration of the current timetable.  This change is due to the new overtaking facilities at Broadmeadows since the works' finish has coincided with the new timetable.  Basically, the VLP train will now overtake at BMS rather than ESD.

*1753 ABY and 1830 SHP on Sundays (two trains now) - split from the combined train due to the rough ride because of the loco in the middle (apparently).

*Morning peak works out better around 8am, worse around 7am
