Signalling LED "A" - Sunday April 10, 2000
Post 18 (up home from platform 2 to Melbourne)
has a trial LED style illuminated "A" with the old one
positioned 90deg angle behind the signal. This was first noted on
Sunday April 10, 2000.
It is only a trial, there is only one permanent LED
style "A" that is at
East Richmond and hardly ever gets used (because the signal is hardly
ever fleeted by Metrol), Blackburn (BBN) had a trial one but I think the
one at ESD is the one that was on trial at BBN. - courtesy Chris

During April it was
noticed that there is now a coffee shop "Coffee HQ" inside the
waiting room at ESD. The exact date of opening is unknown.
It is the same as the ones now found at Melbourne Central Station (MCE)
platform 1+2.

In addition to this information, the "1530 New

Craigeburn to SSS is an empty sprinter from Donnybrook to
Craigeburn.
