FREIGHT TRAIN DIVERSIONS
Due to major works (pit renewal) at
Albion, on the weekend 9-10th SEP 2000, some freight trains were diverted onto the Broadmeadows line, certainly the longest and the only
"real" freight trains on the line for some time.
All Bendigo VLP trains were piloted
through the occupation.

The shot we missed -
Kensington on the same night just moments before we gave up and
left - and the train came through :/ We still saw it and
heard it though, but I'm afraid you cant! A lesson learnt
the hard way - please don't do the same stupid thing! |
