Considering what existed prior to, in Brisbane and
Perth, ANYTHING would have been an improvement.

People in Adelaide "would" use electrics more than
their present air-conditioned comfortable diesel sets.!

There are a host of reasons why Adelaidians do not use
their suburban trains much, it has nothing to do with
the type of motive power.!
