I really don't think a casual rail user could reasonably be expected to down
load all CityRail timetables from the net and then view them later.  In the
situations where I have tried to use the web timetables a decision has to be
made fairly quickly as to whether one should catch a train or look at some
other form of transport.  In particular, the western (Penrith) line
timetable because it is so big takes a long time to view and scroll through
pages.  David Bromage made some good comments about why the CityRail
timetables were so slow, however I think he has censored his comment by
removing it from this newsgroup!  I good public information web site like
CityRail should be easy to navigate and quick to download information from.
