The colour is "Brunswick Green" so it well could be similar to BR
green.

The colour of the loco darkens dramatically as soon as the sun goes
in.  Yesterday afternoon was overcast with only hazy sun, so the loco
went very dark (those who used to refer to the Gs as "wheelie bins"
would be pleased to see the colour now matched the description).

Compare these photos with my other stuff of X47 taken in sunlight and
you'll see that the green is a lovely rich dark green (which turns
almost black when the sun goes in - a challenge for the
photographers).

Do you think there needs to be a bit more yellow on the front of the
loco, though?  X47 and X49 have the area around the number boards
painted yellow as well.
