Re: Derailment, Johnsonville Line

1) this is not your handy work. It is the work of someone named Mark Round.
Assuming you are not Mark Round, to call it your work is plaguarism, and
copyright infringement.

2) This is a text newsgroup. There are specific newsgroups set up to post
pictures/sounds/programs/viruses/etc to.. These are known as binaries
newsgroups. In this case, you should have posted it to
alt.binaries.pictures.rail - To post binaries to non-binaries newsgroups is
inconsiderate to those who pay for their isp charges either by time or
data, also incosiderate to ISP's who pay huge data fees to download such
off-topic junk, the reason why a lot of ISP's either block, or throttle
*.binaries.* newsgroups. By posting the above, you probably also breached
your service providers terms and conditions (most state a clause which dis-
allows abuse of their services by posting binaries to non binaries
newsgroups, etc).

3) To be a little more considerate to people next time, it might be
advisable to post that image to a webpage, not quoting it as your "handy
work" unless it really is yours. If it isn't yours, state that it isn't
yours and give full credit to the author. Binaries newsgroups have a
shorter expiration time with most service providers, because disk space
costs money. Abuse the privilege and your service provider will probably
just stop providing it.

[On this note, is there even an FAQ for this newsgroup?]

Kind Regards
Michael
