It's a bit harder to get rid of a fleet of 480 trains, than a fleet of 1.
It would actually be quite noticable even :) Only people who would whine
about the 4D being out of service are the poor unfortunate foamites in
love with the damn thing :) (I dont mean just gunzel's either!). 

[Alas, gone are the days of passing the white elephant while on a WORKING
hitachi/comeng, with people looking at it and quoting "theres that double
storey train", and/or people kids saying "i catch this train to school 
every day so i can plug my laptop in to recharge"[1]].

[1] Yes, i've seen this happen, really. FYI, im not sure about the Tangara, 
but the 4D has a pretty standard power point at the end of the top deck. 
Not sure about the voltage of it though, and how successful it is to 
charge/burn/fry a laptop using it.
