First thing you need to get is residency. I do not believe that any railWAY
will emply you if you merely have a working visa. Residency is not an easy
thing to get.

Secondly, we do not have guards any more on our freight trains. Guards here
provided the same function as conductors do on US railroads. All of our
freight trains are two man crews (with both crew members in the cab) and
both of them are drivers (although one may be a trainee driver). Some
railWAYs are even one-man operated.

So to sum it up - you are pushing faeces uphill. The likelihood of
employment for you is not good. UNLESS you get residency. You never know,
you might get a job as a trainee driver at some hard to staff depot out in
the middle of nowhere.
