Another uncompleted example of track is the proposed QR Petrie - Kippa-Ring railway. It's been (I'm told) on the drawing board for almost 100 years. EMU's are fitted with Kippa-Ring on their destination boards. It's an 8 km stretch of track linking the Redcliffe peninsula with the main Northern Line. Well at least moves are now being made to add a third track between Northgate and Strathpine....
