No you can get a complete train into the platform and it will be next to
the platform face for the whole length.  But it isn't realy
a one train platform, it is realy 2 1/2 platforms joined together end to 
end.  1 west with the current layout could only hold a 3 car train to be
clear at each end.

So it is the longest platform in Australia, but it isn't a one train 
platform.
