Interesting. AFAIK the van runs on every train. Maybe there wasn't enought
traffic to
justify running a train? Or more likely, they are running short of vans. A
great number of
the TLV class vans were used to make the underframes of the GPSE coaches.
The running
number of each coach is it's TLV number.
Actually, I live in Cloncurry, but haven't been to Hughenden or Winton for
ages, so I can't
answer your question for sure.

Alas no. I rang the SM at Monto a while back, and he confirmed it's demise.
