Beyond Shelbourne. About 4-5 kms of earthwork done in the 1930's but no
tracks laid. Probably halted due to the depression.

There were about a dozen lines authorised by the Victorian Parliament
which were never constructed. In a number of cases land was reserved and
even today one can see these reservations (eg Alphington to East
Preston).
