Re: GSR will extend the Ghan service to Darwin



European designed cars would not meet the buffing forces that are standard
here. I mean the Europeans are still into buffers and drawhooks. Anything
European doesn't work here off the shelf without extensive modifications ala
the XPT trains which are highly modified HST's. The coaches of our XPT's are
of a far superior design than the funny things they run in England.
