sometimes, on the tangaras, if the driver is a bit slow in opening the
throttle, you can hear the whine go from low, to high, to very high, in
perfect musical octaves. In music, a note 1 octave higher than another, has
exactly double the frequency. so the speed at which the chopper switches on
and of doubles, then doubles again. Is this right???

btw, as the train (not just T, but especially C) you can hear the whine go
DOWN in octaves again, from very high, to high, to low. You can hear it
only if you listen very hard above the whirring of motors, the sound of
wheels on rails, etc. does anybody know anything about this?
