Hi,

A killfile is a term used to "filter" someone from your newsgroups. The
term came from unix newsreaders that you created a file called
".killfile" i believe. I think outlook espresso calls it something stupid
like "inbox assistant". Another common term used to tell someone you are
killfiling them is "*plonk*", though more common on the tech newsgroups.
