Yep the newer Xps have been found to have lower quality wiring than the
older versions... the wiring and for that matter the air and water piping
through out the older units is still ok, but the newer ones are beginning to
fail already...

There will have to be some modifications to the XP car body to fit the new
engine and the larger and wy more efficient cooling group  in, so maybe
there is a need for some rewiring there as well...
