Re: 3801 tube problems

The bald Greek gentleman and 600 other prospective passengers were
stranded at Ashfield this morning when the train was cancelled at short
notice.

Apparently there were many distressed people. What are the liabilities
in a situation such as this? Is is an all care but no responsibility
situation?

Are there contingency plans for 3801 Limited and other rail personnel
to effectively communicate with the persons affected?

And why would there not have been a back up plan because 600
distressed/disgruntled people at Ashfield would need to be treated with
some consideration.

Apparently people came from interstate and the Western Suburbs Leagues
Club had made a big effort to publicise its annual trip in the local
commununity.

Would the situation have been any different under a privatised rail
administration.
