3801 tube problems

3801 will be out of action for about a fortnight whilst a tube is replaced.
As a consequence 3830 (in company with 4401) will work the Western Suburbs
Leagues Club special to Maitland on Sunday.

This train leaves ASHFIELD at 8.04; Hornsby at 8.20; Gosford at 9.35 and
Broadmeadow at 10.50. Arrives at East Maitland at 11.15 and Maitland at
11.22

On the return, it leaves Maitland at 2.22; East Maitland at 2.30;
Broadmeadow at 2.55; Gosford at 4.05; Hornsby at 5.00 and Ashfield at 5.45.

Next Wednesday, 3830 will operate to Medlow Bath and Clarence Loop and in
the evening will be used at Mortuary station in connection with a motor car
launch.

Neither 3801 nor 3830 were scheuled to be used the following weekend.
