Melbourne's Radio on Rails Fun Day for radio
amateurs and people with scanners is on this
Sunday October 10 between 9am and 1pm.
Frequencies likely to be used include
146.700, 146.850, 147.000, 147.075, 147.175,
147.250, 438.100, 438.225, 439.375 MHz.
There are sections for both transmitting
and listening-only stations. Participants
send in a log of people spoken to (or heard)
and send it to the Moorabbin & District
Radio Club.
If you see people on trains and trams with
radio transceivers and antennas this Sunday,
there's a good chance you've spotted a Radio
on Rails participant.
Participants are invited to meet for lunch after
the event.
