Re: [QLD] The last SX tin sets



The SX set being restored at Cairns is for a private operator who will
be running a  daily steam service between Cairns and Kuranda. 
The loco for this will likely be ex South African Railways Class 24
2-8-4 No 3620 which is currently being modified in Auckland, NZ. This
involves some work to fit QR loading gauge, conversion from vacuum to
air braking, and change to oil firing.
