The new section will be opened by Robin Copper at 12:00pm on June 6th (sun)
at Exhibition/Flinders Street, free sassage sizzle and ride on the new
section.

It was a pitty about the fact a Z didn't run the last trip, because
with the new section having low platform and Z class having stupid front
doors, they won't be able to be run on the new section (same reason
they can't run on the light rail, even with panto's)

: assorted people. Even Mr. Notagunzel was there, clearly not doing much at his web
: site. Due to the rugby match at Olympic Park, B class trams operated the final
: services with all the A and Z classes safely tucked up in bed at Camberwell Depot.
: Pity in a way that a Z couldn't have run the last, they after all operated the route
: for quite a number of years. Mind you a borrowed W would have been even better.
