Have been a bit of a fan of WCR with their efforts in retaining a passenger service
in the face of unbelievable odds. However the spending of this large amount of
money on was is effectively "boys playing with trains" has done their credibility a
lot of harm. I hear tell at the moment that they are down to 3 diesels and need 3
to run the service. $1M would go a long way to keeping the money earning loco fleet
in traffic.
