Melbourne's Transport History

I am doing an "in depth case study of an urban area" and have chosen to do
Melbourne.

For this, I would like the history of Melbourne's train, tram and bus
network.

Eg, opening and closing of lines, stations, government intervention all of
that sort of stuff
