G'day.

Basically confirming what the others have said, as I visited the
station on New Year's Day.

The station and goods shed are complete, as is the yard trackage.
One small section of track was removed to allow road trucks to back up
to the station platform.

The lengthy overhead pedestrian footbridge, for which Bombala was
known, still remains as the official "shortt cut" across the rail
yard.

It would appear that a small railway museum of sorts may exist on the
down side of the line, near the turntable, as there is a restored
lower quadrant signal on display.

I understand that the station yard is leased to the local Council who
had (and even may still have) plans for a Museum of Timber (and Rail)
on the site.

Hunslet.
