WGR was never an authentic recreation of the VR line. The locos never ran on that line and the carriages are modern constructions. Not even Puffing Billy is terribly authentic. That doesn't mean they don't have any heritage value. We should be thankful that there is at least rail on the old trackbed again. Cheers David
