At 166.1km and opened on 1 June 1997 replacing Violet Town as a crossing
loop. Other crossings loops on the Seymour - Benalla section have all been
closed due to the efficiency drive by the railway management of the day and
done at the behest of the government in order to bolster the money being
spent on the roads.

It will be interesting to see of FV manage to markedly increase their market
share without any crossing loops.
