The Dimboola pass and the Peanut. Others my age have ridden these trains,
and now I sit down with them and reminisce and wonder why I didn't go there.
I think it might have something to do with my parents, who seemed reluctant
to let me travel overnight until I was 16 or so. Unfortunately at the end of
VR steam on passenger trains you could take a day trip and watch the Swan
Hill at Bendigo, or watch the Peanut at Ararat.

Can't help with clappers.
