I wonder if it would be. AFAIK, the axle load of a Dd is less than that
of a Pmr.
The limiting factor would be load allowed over the trestle bridges on
the line.
Dds were used on trips to Bunbury in years gone by. The longest trip I
have been
on behind a Dd or Dm was a round trip to Serpentine, out via Armadale
and return
via Kwinana and Fremantle. Water was taken on at Serpentine only.
Regarding the loco's weights, I will if I can find out and post the
results to
the group.
