date in the line listings though.

While on the subject (VR to 62), was it standard for copies of this book to be
'personalised'?  I inherited my Grandfather's, on the cover embossed in gold
(as
per the "Victorian Railways to '62 etc" is "Personal Copy of (Grandfathers

Yes, every copy I've seen has someone's name embossed on the cover. I have my
Uncles copy as well as his original grades book, (the one before the one the
ARE reprinted) Both cherished items!
