Melbourne Radio on Rails Fun Day

Rail travellers who are also radio amateurs or scanner
enthusiasts are invited to take part in the inaugural
Radio on Rails Fun Day on Sunday April 11.  

The object of the event is to make radio contacts from a
train or tram.  It runs for four hours between 9am and 1pm
and takes place on the two metre (144-148 MHz) band only.  
There is a listening section, so people with scanner receivers
can enter too.
