R711 lifted off wheels

G'day,

At Ballarat East today (Monday 1/3), R711 was lifted and it's driving
wheels removed.  Lifting was done by three mobile cranes - having never
seen this before I must say it was unbelievable to see 100 odd tonne of
locomotive about 12 foot off the ground!  BZ270 was later lifted and
overhauled bogies placed under it.

I hope to have pics on WCR site tonight (Monday).
