So would rebuilding the old Footscray network.

Hillside Trains to Whittlesea, Kew, Healsville, Warburton and the Outer
Circle? Ringwood to Greensborough via the Eastern Ring Road?

On a serious note, extending the Alemain line through to the Glen Waverley
line should not be too much of a hassle. The right of way is already there,
and even has supports for the overhead for a short distance.

Another serious suggestion would be a link between West Coburg and East
Coburg tram routes along the old Inner Circle. In an ideal world it
could
go all the way to Brunswick St or Smith St, but that's a different tram
company!

BTW, which tram company gets the City Circle?
