No, not sold, *given* to National Express, according to 1 pm ABC radio
news.
Nat Express have to spend $1 billion (not specified where) over the
next 15 years in attracting new passengers.
According to Peter Batchelor, Opposition Spokesman on Transport, said
that National Express now had access to $3½ billion worth of ticket
sales, owning three of the five major public transport operators.
They did say on 12 o'clock news that they would re-open "closed" lines
(perhaps they meant to say resume suspended services, eg Bairnsdale,
Mildura).
