Not unique, of course. You wouldn't necessarily expect to hike to Spencer
Street to catch a North Balwyn tram. It wouldn't be remarkable at all if the
Batman Avenue services hadn't been the only regular ones to stop at the edge
of the city instead of passing through.

And "Princes Bridge" probably would have been an apter name, had it not been
for the railway station of that name.

BTW, there was once a third regular service from Batman Avenue: the 77 to
Prahran. How long since that one ran?
